Baby elephant calf, Dev injured, now back on his feet!

In India, this baby elephant fell into a rocky and sharp ravine that caused him to be unable to walk and with horrible wounds.

His mother, worried as could be, followed after him to comfort him and make sure he was safe, died shortly after knowing he was going to be alright.

Days later, Dev is back on his feet getting salt baths, and being fed by bottle with milk. The other elephants have accepted little Dev into their herd and he now feels welcome in his environment. The workers at IFAW have been diligently taking care of him, and nursing him back to health. This poor creature is still in serious condition. He was left with terrible wounds and bruises, so God willing, he will be much better in the weeks to come.

Sea Turtle Hatchlings get help in Panama City, Florida!

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – July 27, 2011

- Thanks to Panhandle volunteer group in Panama City, Florida, thousands of newborn sea turtles are able to start their lives in the ocean, without threats of being eaten by hungry predators.

When sea turtles hatch, they are usually disorientated and they need guidance to get to the water. Turtle Watch of Panama City Beach helps them when they cannot see properly from the bright lights on the beach or the sun rays.

a Turtle Watch coordinator says that they first found a nest May this year, but only 5 of the hatchlings made it to the water by themselves, but the 69 others needed help from the volunteers  because of being disoriented.

Mother Eagle – Has Come and Gone

Just now, the mother Eagle has flown back into the nest, and now she has left it once again. The viewers keep going up and the babies are becoming hungry. The father Eagle has just left the nest. Most likely they are fetching some food for the youngsters. They are adorable little birds sitting in their nest!

They are patiently waiting for mommy and daddy to get some dinner! You can really get lost watching these animals just live their daily lives. God created such beautiful animals, and to be able to watch them live is just priceless!

Don’t stop watching now! ^_^

Decorah Eagles!

Earlier this month, a mother and father Bald Eagle in Iowa, were watched by many on a live stream as their babies were hatching from their eggs. People have been glued to the screen watching this family protect their young and keep their babies warm. The snow had covered the nest, but that was no problem for mom and dad – they had it fixed up for their young asap.

The other night, an owl was disturbing their nest and the mother and father Eagle didn’t stand by and watch their young get hurt, but they protected them with all they knew how! What amazing creatures these birds are – being able to watch them live is an incredible thing for us all. Keep these little ones in your prayers and let’s hope they get through all that they need to!
